Kyle's Halloween Party in Preschool October 31, 2008

Here are pics of the party in Kyle's Class. As you can see he was a skeleton. It was so cute to see all the kids dressed up. They had different things to do at different tables. They decorated cookies and totally enjoyed eating them. Another table was Halloween Bingo which was so much fun. They also made mummies out of little flower pots. In the circle time area they had Monster Feet they could try on and walk with. The best thing about the day is that Daddy was able to come! We all had a great time!

The Pumpkin Patch

October 19th, 2998

It's getting close to Halloween and the kids are bugging me about making jack o lanterns. So off we go to Vertuccio Farms. We first went into the farmers market and got some pumpkin carving kits and then we searched and search for the perfect pumpkins. Of course we had to take some pics as well.

Tricycle-a-thon - October 27, 2008

At school there was a fundraiser for Diabities. It was a Tricycle-a-thon. It was so cute to watch the kids ride their bikes for a great cause. They had a wonderful time and thought it was so cool to ride their bikes during school.

And off he goes................peddling his little heart out.

Whoa, easy around the turn, bud.

Here are some of the kids peddling and peddling. They were laughing and laughing having such a great time.

And here they all are at the finish line. They all did a great job and were so proud of themselves.
Way to go kids!!!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!! October 27, 2008

It's Daddy's birthday again so we took him out to dinner to Outback Steakhouse. It was delicious but the best part was the FREE dessert he got for his special day. The kids loved it.
For his special day, the kids and I go Daddy a singing door bell. It has tons of tunes and we thought he would love it since it has the sports themes. I love it for the holiday music......hehehe

And here is his cake, its Carvel of course. If you are from back east you know Carvel, they have since come out here but i dont think they made it big here. An ice cream shop, who would have thought it would not make it here in hot, sunny Arizona. Anyway, who cares, we all love it and we didnt waste a drop of it!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!!

Brownies - October 17, 2008

Juliette Low Tea Party

So here is Nicole's Brownie troop at Juliette Low's Birthday Tea Party. We learned how to decorate cup cakes, we painted our very own ceramic tea cup and saucer and we participated in the "Operation Stocking Stuffer". This consisted of stuffing christmas stockings for military men and women who are not able to come home for Christmas. We all had so much fun and we learned so much that night. I think the best part was decorating the cupcakes so that we could eat them. It was somewhat hard because the bags we were using were a little too small so it was messy. But boy oh boy were they good!!!

I am a BIG slacker!!!!

So here I sit on October 27th and I am trying to figure out where to pick up on the Parry blog. I have to say that my camera was dropped so i had to get a new one. When I got the new one I moved the memory card over and then I was messing with the new camera not knowing what I was doing. So long story short, i reformatted the memory card not knowing that it erases all the pics that were on it. There were pics of Nicole's new room and pics of our weekend trip to Flagstaff. So I am going to start posting but its going to be out of order a bit.

And a way we go......................

Creative Hands, Creative Kids

August 24, 2008
It was a hot, humid day and all we wanted to do was keep cool. We didnt have any plans with anyone so we decided to go bowling. Just the 4 of us on the lanes. We love bowling. So we got to the bowling alley and it was so busy that there was an hour and half wait. Silly mommy, why didnt you call before getting the kids all excited about going and doing something fun.

Nicole and and Kyle were so upset that we were not going to bowl they begged and begged me to go to the ceramic paint store....Nicole kept saying "please mommy, its right over there, please" then Kyle got in on the fun "please mommy, i love you, please". Well what could i say to that?

So, here we are at the ceramic place painting little trinkets. Nicole picked out a butterfly bank and Kyle picked out a 4 wheeler box. We had so much fun.

So you ask me where is Dennis......

He was being so patient and for 2 1/2 hours he sat on the couch watching us. When Kyle was done with his 4 wheeler, he sat with Daddy on the couch and passed out. He was so tired that he fell asleep.

Wanna see something cute. This is how hard Nicole was working on her bank. She got more paint on her outfit than on the piece of pottery.....haha just kidding but it certainly shows how much fun she had painting.

We get to pick up the pieces on Sunday so I will post a picture when we get them back..............................

so stay tuned..............................

It's a Parry Bonding Day!! Aug 23rd

We had a nice morning and now heading into the late afternoon and evening we have gone separate ways. Nicole and Mommy are heading to the nail salon. I haven't had a pedi in over a 2 months. its so bad that I have the same nail polish on my piggies from the last one and they are just about grown out. So now that we have time without the boys are taking full advantage.

Here are the boys heading to a baseball game. Dennis and Kyle are going to see the D'Backs and the Marlins play downtown. If you know Dennis you know that he loves going to any sports game he can. I think Kyle is following in his footsteps. He loves going with Daddy to the games. Today they are going to get a Burns Bobble head. Kyle can't wait to add it to his collection.
